The Nigerian Medical Association has endorsed the Jubilee Syringe manufactured in Akwa Ibom state. This was made known by the President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Prof Innocent A.O. UJAH, on Friday 5th March, while fielding questions on Update Akwa Ibom, the flagship radio program of the Ministry of Information and strategy aired on Inspiration FM.
Professor Ujah who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State commended the effort of the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, for creating the enabling environment for investors to do business in Akwa Ibom State and for his developmental strides in the State.
According to Prof Ujah, the impact of the syringe factory is immeasurable and a welcome addition to the state, emphasizing that the syringe factory will generate employment, create wealth and provide services for healthcare management.
He saluted the Governor’s concerted response to COVID-19 issues by putting in place structures to curb the global pandemic.
The NMA president also noted that the Jubilee Syringe is a credible instrument that will contribute to health care development in Nigeria and beyond.
In his words ” we already have the evidence, it is approved by NAFDAC and it is also true practically that those who are the end users also accept it as a quality product”.
